By scheduling at Revolt Hair Studio guests agree to our cancellation policy. A valid credit card and $50.00 deposit is required to schedule an appointment. Guests who cancel within a 72 hour timeframe of the appointment start time will result in a non-refundable deposit PLUS 50% of the total services booked. No-shows will result in a cancellation fee equal to 100% of the total services booked. The cancellation fee will be processed to the credit card on file. The fee is not redeemable for services or products and is non-refundable. We do not wish to charge guests who do not come in to see us, and understand the unforeseen circumstances do arise! To avoid this fee, please cancel pri0r to the 72-hour window before your appointment begins.
What color line do you use?
I chose my color line and professional products based on performance, health, and environmental consciousness.. I use Kevin Murphy Color.Me, a non-ammoniated color line that gently moisurizes, rejuvenates, and imparts incredible shine thanks to the shades rich in honey,pomegranate, shea butter, rose hips and aloe vera. My appointment is going to take 6-8 hours! Any tips/advice on what to wear, what to bring?
Wear comfortable clothes! You will be sitting for a long period of time. We offer light snacks and drinks, however feel free to order some DoorDash or UberEats to be delivered to the studio while you’re processing.

Do you take walk-ins?
No. An appointment is required in advance, but feel free to text us at 301.388.8977, as we might have a last minute opening at any given time.
At Revolt Hair Studio, all appointment inquiries are made via text or email. If you’ve ever called the salon, you may have heard my voicemail directing you to hang up and send a text/email instead! Why? This allows us to keep all inquiries and communications documented and easy to reference if and when needed. It also leaves little to no room for miscommunication and/or mistakes, promotes transparency, and lastly – boundaries! This process helps to safeguard me, as the stylist, and you! *When texting or emailing Revolt Hair Studio, please allow 24-48 business hours for a response.
If you’d like to book an appointment time that is not available on the Revolt Hair Studio appointment site, you can text to inquire about a premium appointment at a price increase of up to (but not limited to) 1.5x. This applies to evening (non-haircut) appointments starting at 5pm or later, Sundays/Mondays, and holidays. Holidays may be subject to higher price increases. Availability is limited and may not be guaranteed.
Do you do any dry-cutting?
I do! I believe in the saying “dry hair does not lie!” I cut hair after it has been dried 99.9% of the time. This method allows me to manage the length/density of your hair with more accuracy.
I use Cezanne. The Cezanne Keratin Treatment smooths all hair types, including straight, wavy, textured and curly hair. Unlike other keratin smoothing treatments, is free of formaldehyde and harsh chemicals, requires no downtime and gives you smooth, frizz-free hair that will last up to five months. The treatment also reduces blow dry time by up to 30%, condition hair, repair damage, and add moisture to dry hair.
What type of blow dryer do you use?
Dyson Supersonic hair dryer, Professional Edition. Dyson Supersonic hair dryer is engineered to protect hair with fast drying and controlled styling. It is my dryer of choice for managing style and preventing heat damage to their hair.

Do you accommodate late arrivals?
In the event a client is more than 20 minutes late, they will be asked to reschedule and the cancellation policy may be implemented. We fully understand that traffic or unforeseen circumstances may arise and will work to the best of our ability to accommodate you. However, as a courtesy to other clients, we can only conduct your session within your scheduled appointment.
Do you allow children in your salon suite?
Due to safety considerations and limited space, children are not permitted in the salon.
Where are you located?
Revolt Hair Studio is located inside Sola Salon Suites in the Westview Promenade, next to Champions Billiards and across from Chicos. Ample parking is available in the front and back of the building.
What do I do when I arrive?
Once you’ve arrived at your appointment, please text us at 301.388.8977 to let us know you’re here! You will receive a text back to let you know that we are ready for you.

How do you handle clients who exhibit inappropriate or offensive behavior?
Revolt Hair Studio has a zero tolerance policy when it comes to hate speech, racism, and inappropriate behavior. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at any given time. If inappropriate/offensive behavior or language is used, you will be asked to leave the salon and a fee equal to the service total may be charged to the credit card on file.
